looking for a motor with a normally engaged brake

Hi,

I'm trying to find a motor that has a brake. When the motor is energized I would like the brake to disengage. When no power is provided to the motor, I would like the brake to engage. Basically I need a motor that brakes when no power is offered to it.

I would prefer the motor to be a stepper, but I don't mind DC motor suggestions.
-Can you provide me with manfacturer websitesfor these types of motors?
-How would I control these motors?

Darn DC... There are a lot of small 3-phase with a built in brakes...

The brare energized when 24VDC is applyed only, i.e. you may use Servo-On command for brake control.
