You can order them at astm.org. Should be about $20 each.

These are Copyright 2005 ASTM International.

ASTM A53/A53M-05 Standard Specification for Pipe, Steel, Black and Hot-Dipped, Zinc-Coated, Welded and Seamless
is 22 pages, $44. Pretty cheap for a standard @ $2/page. Read the summary at

ASTM A135-05 Standard Specification for Electric-Resistance-Welded Steel Pipe is relatively expensive, only 9 pages for $33.

Note that both are 2005 revisions.

If you are going to be dealing with a lot more ASTM Stds that pertain to steel in future, you might as well purchase the ASTM Book of Standards Volume 01.01: Iron and Steel Products. It contains 120 standards and is slighty over $200.

Or join ASTM for $85 and get the book free.

These documents are the basis for contracts. Don't be foolish and reference a spec that you haven't read.
