Looking for monitored spool position valves

Hi,

I'm trying to find a hydraulic (and pneumatic) control valve in witch some sort of position sensing (electrical)would indicate the spool position.

I was told that Parker had this kind of valve but was unable to find it.

Thanks,
Real

Real;

Look in Hydraulics & Pneumatics Designers Guide at under Proportional Valves. They usually have an optional LVDT on the spool or spools to feedback position information to the control card.

Sorry to just see this now. I just found this website.
Parker does have a monitor switch for monitoring the shifted condition of the spool. If you just need to know that the spool has shifted to a certain position, there is a simple on-off switch. If you need more precise feedback, then a proportional valve is more what you need.
For hydraulic applications, you can find the monitor switch on the Parker website, under "hydraulics" and "industrial"
email me if you need more info.

Also try looking under the terms "servo valve" in addition to "proportional valve". Valves that use a closed loop control of the spool position are sometimes referred to as either servo valves or servo proportional valves.
