I'm looking for some specific details on photovoltaic module manufacturing techniques. And yes I have done lots of google searches (although probably not the right ones). What I am looking for is how the entire module back panel is laid out and connected. How are the individual cells connected to one another. I have a very small panel in front of me and the connections on that are solder traces. I would imagine that on a large system, the cells are individually manufactured on separate PCBs. So the interconnection would have to be in the form of copper braids, or something like that. Does anyone know how these connections are made? And do these connections require insulation? How much insulation? Etc... Any help or references would be helpful.

I'm not sure what you think you going to find, but there is no standard, so every company has its own way of doing things.

What I'm trying to find is an example of a working module so that I can see how the cell to cell connections are made. Thank you for the reference. I will take a look at that.
