I'm in need of rectangular polycarbonate/Lexan tubing. Inner dimensions should be at least 0.6" x 0.25", thickness in the 0.0625" to 0.125" range. Shipping length is pretty open, as I'll be cutting these into 1-2" lengths.

Any suggestions of US-based suppliers/manufacturers? Fairly small orders should be welcome, say 50-100 feet at a time.

Hi MacgyverS2000,

IMHO you might be better off considering having these parts injection moulded. PC is pretty tough stuff to cut - sawing leaves lots of burr which needs trimming off and generally is a messy operation. I would think you would be very lucky to find stock tubing of these dimensions so you might be into having an extrusion die made anyway (cheaper than inj. moulding tool, but not insignificant).

Pud, Burrs aren't an issue as the cut ends of the tube will be completely covered with endcaps. I would like to stay away from the costs involved with custom molding (been there, done that on other projects... pricey). If I could find someone to mold long lenthgs for low prices (say, a $300-$500 setup fee, a couple of bucks a foot), I would seriously consider that, but that's doubtful. I think my best bet is to find something off the shelf.

gambro, I'll check out their site, thanks.

Other suggestions welcome.
