Volume I is SAE publication PT-41; volume II is SAE publication PT-87. Looks like they may be out of print. Amazon has volume I for sale used at $188.
They are a collection of Buckindale lectures; each one has it's own SAE paper so you could pick and choose and buy the individual papers. I found the engine integration and cooling system design papers to be the most interesting
SAE bookstore has over 200 books on truck design on many different tpics
Truck maintenance council (TMC) recommended maintenance and recommended engineering practices handbooks are good references as well
