Loop Design???

Hello,
What does Loop Design mean? I created two hollow tubes in part design. Then I went into assembly design, and placed them at right angles to form a T. Then i went into insert/assembly features, remove. I want the common parts of the tube removed to form a TEE. It does not want to do that. If I hide one tube, I see that the other one is not trimmed.

try making two solid tubes in a single feature...shell it.hope it helps.
