I use Wildfire with the model window full screen. Recently, during component assembly, when I go to spin my model my "Component Placement" window gets covered by the model window. So, I must then shrink my model window to pick the edge of the "component placement" to get it back on top.

Used to work fine. I have no idea what changed.

Any ideas ?

This happens in pro/e 2001. I usually toggle it on and off then it reappears. It's extremely frustrating when I'm working on a large assembly.

Shoelace,

If my memory serves me try locating these two config file options: [hammer]

Comp_assemble_start
constrain_in_window

I'm not using WF so I can't tell you if they're an option but they need to be set.

Thanks Heckler. Actually, that's not really what I was after although it's a good tip to know. My problem is losing the little box that contains the assembly constraints - eg mate, align etc, which in Wildfire is called the component assembly window. I imagine the problem is not an issure in Pro/E 2001 because usually you don't work full screen.
