Lost Dragging 1

I am sure that I somehow got a system variable messed up....previously, when I would go to copy or move an object, I would have a "ghost" of the object to drag across the drawing screen. For whatever reason, that is now gone. Can someone tell me the variable that I need to fix?

Set dragmode on\off\auto.
