Love DraftSight, but it needs the "OverKill" feature to get rid of duplicates

I Love DraftSight, but it needs the "OverKill" feature to get rid of duplicates.
Do you think they will ever implement something like it, or is this one of the carrots to upgrade to
SolidWorks?
thanks for opinions or any tips.
