Looking for some refrigeration help.
I have a variable condenser water system, that I need to run temporarily as constant volume. (The VFD is not coming in for another 4-6 weeks).
It is a condenser water with a cooling tower, and serves water-cooled condensers for freezers, and also water source heat pump to cool electrical room type spaces. The pumping system is 200 gpm, if I open all the WSHP valves (on/off) for the WSHP, I will get 100 gpm in the system, which the pump can ride the curve and meet the demand.
My question is, can I run the WSHP "wild" or will it cause the refrigeration to migrate and trip on low suction pressure, even if the compressor is off.
If there is any literature that you are aware of that explains the issue, that would also be appreciated.
