Lowest Condenser Temp is the better?

Is it true that the lowest condenser temperature you can get is the better for the chiller efficiency? Or below certain temperature there will be no benefits to the efficiency?

The lower the condenser temperature, the lower the 'lift'. Chiller energy usage is a function of lift and flow.

The reduction in energy is a function of the control of the chiller. A chiller that is controlled with a VFD will benefit more from 'reduced lift' than a chiller with slider valve control.

Once condenser water temperature is equal to the chilled water temperature, there is no benefit. Some/most chillers have a minimum acceptable condenser water temperature.
