LPG Tank 1

Dear all,
Can anyone tell me about the construction of the LPG tank. I currently have a draw of a LPG tank which has 3 nozzles in the bottom of the tank. One of them is described as vapor. How could vapor gets out of the tank from the bottom?

Could it be a connection for steam-out? Shell sometimes like this (at least on someof their refineries).

Does the tank have a top platform ?

Is this the first LPG tank you have ever worked on ?

Do you have a background in tanks and pressure vessels, or has your MBA boss thrown you on this project, because, after all....any engineer is the same as any other...

The vapor connection is at the bottom of the Propane/LPG/ etc tank because it (sometimes)eliminates the need for a top platform and it facilitates the vent connection to the fill tanker truck.

It vents vapors because of a lng pipe that extends to the top of the inside of the tank.
