Hello,

I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction. I am a one man show engineering firm and my main focus is temporary works for bridge construction.

Because AASHTO Temporary Works rarely (if at all) requires LRFD, I have never learned how to do LRFD. This hasn't been a problem until just recently. Yesterday in fact.

I designed the substructure for a temporary detour bridge for one of my clients. The superstructure was design and supplied by Mabey Bridge and Shore. I've done many of these in the past using ASD. Well, now the DOT requires me to use LRFD and I'm clueless.

I've got the unfactored superstructure dead (90 kips) and live (160 kips) loads from Mabey for each of the four corners of the bridge. The dead load of the footing and backwall is around 50 kips.

I'm 100% confident that the substructure design is adequate, but I have no idea how to go through the LRFD method to prove it. Can anyone 1) Help me figure out how to do this? Or 2) Help me find some software that can accomplish this goal? Or 3) Help me find someone that can do this for me? Or 4) Help me find a freelance type website or forum to post this job?

I'm in a bit of a time crunch and need it pretty quickly.
