Sir.
I have modeld a Spring using Discrete element (Consists of two Nodes)in Dyna. I have given the stiffness as force deflection curves. Also I have created a rigid walll on one side of the spring. But I am not able to give proper contact betweeen the rigid wall and that single node of the Spring(Discrete element). Also We have to assign the nodal mass while Modeling the Discrete elements in order to solve the equation Mx+Kx+Cx=F. My quetion how much mass should be assigned at the node...any thumb rule for that?
Please help me out if youave any knowledge regarding the same.
