Shigley's Mechanical Engineering Design texbook provides basic lubrication information. (Reference McGraw-Hill). Rabinowitz also has a text on lubrication from the point of view of friction and tribology. Several bearing manufacturers (such as Timken) have sites that allow for technical help with this question. The grease suppliers also support their products.<br>
