Hi everyone. My first post here. I have been operating the Trumpf TruLaser 2030 for about 6 months now, so I am quite new to laser cutting.

When cutting circles (any material), a small lug/burr is left which makes it hard to fit in the required pin/bolt etc. There is an option in TruTops which changes the approach path to overcome this issue, but the downside is that this creates a small notch on the side of the circle. Clients often have very precise tolerances and requirements that don't allow for this. I would like to know how other people overcome this issue.

For most precision applications, the manufacturing process includes a reaming operation for such holes after it is cut on the laser.

We are very seriously looking at the purchase of the Trumph TruLaser 2030, we would appreciate and suggestions or comments that you could offer before me make this decision.

Thank you.
