No injuries or deaths reported.

News story.

Volume warning: truckers swearing like sailors.

Edit:

Adding location from Google Maps.

Also thank you waross for the correction. This is a pulp mill not a lumber mill.

Actually it is a pulp mill.
Lumber mills blow up as well but the cause is completely different.
Apart from the nit-picking, that's a nice video.
Thanks.

What's amazing is no serious injuries. From the drone flyover it looks like most of the blast force must have gone straight-up.

I'm guessing that the digester developed indigestion.

Flight time on that stuff was a good 1 minute +... impressive height, even taking into account air resistance slowing the fall.

I didn't see a readily apparent ruptured vessel in the flyover.
Did I miss it or has it "Left the building".

I think that debris has collapsed back onto the vessel that blew.
I wonder if there was a section of head launched with that explosion?
There looks to be very little damage to adjacent equipment and structures.
It will be interesting to see the reports.

The height and narrowness of the blast is pretty stunning. It looks like it was launched from a tube like a volcano.

The second picture at that link is of two trucks that were crushed by falling debris. I can't find where I read it, but I believe they were in the parking lot at the mill. There were also reports of debris (not sure if that means pulp, shrapnel or something else) landing in the parking lot of a grocery store almost 2 miles away.

Looking at the mill on Google Earth, there are two tall slender vessels at the blast site.
At 1:12 of the flyover you may see one of the vessels leaning and the second vessel lying on the ground.
Other views of the leaning vessel show the top missing.
