Machine Shop document?? UG-NX4 CAM

Can any one help me out there? More than 30% of my time is consumed in preparing shop document and verifying it number of times,

Is there any method or option by which the document can be prepared in a simple and easy manner?

Now the requirement,
Need the following details in a spread sheet (*.xls)

1) Program number
2) Program name
3) Tool details a) Name
b) Type
c) Diameter
d) Corner radius
e) Total length
f) Flute length
g) Number of flutes

4) Holder details a) holder name
b) collet details (if possible)

5) Cutting parameters a) Feed
b) Speed
c) DOC

If any additional details can be provided other than the above list, it will be welcomed.

You could make a postprocessor that collects the data and outputs it in some kind of asci format e.g. xml or csv.

If you are good at ugopen I think there is a possibility to create an xml file directly. However, I am not sure if ugopen has access to the manufacturing data.

I made my own shopdoc, but there was some problems, unobtainable parameters etc.
It is easier to start with a postprocessor.
In a post you can write your TCL code to write operation parameters to a file..
I wrote a VB script too, so now i only have to click on a button, and all the programs and the shopdoc Html file will be generated. But, unfortunately it is workin only in our file-sorting system..
Take a look at my threads, there are many of my questions, and there are the answers, which helped me.
