What would the push out force standard for M4 weld nut welded to 1.5mm thick nickel-zinc pre-plated steel?

If this is a squre weld nut (4 projections), then a minimum value should be ~ 3000 N.

3000 N is probably the lowest force you should achieve for hat size. Some automakers require 4000 N minimum for M4/M6 size range.

Greetings, it’s been quite a while since I needed DiamlerChrysler weld standards. Now, I can’t even locate where to retrieve them. Any clues?

Thanks again,

The link from dbooker is for Chrysler standards. Daimler maintains there standards separately now that the two companies have split. In order to obtain Chrysler standards, you must register with Covisint and have Chrysler approve your application.
