Machining SE Models in UG

We are evaluating different 3D CAD/CAM solutions. We ar considering an across-the-board UG solution, as well as a hybrid SE/UG CAD/CAM solution. We'd like some feedback from people using a SE/UG CAD/CAM model. Can toolpaths be easily appilied in UG to models imported from SE? We have the suspicion that it's somewhat tough to apply toling operations to just certain features of Solid-Edge models.

We'd greatly appreciate responses from people with experience using the actual SE/UG combination.
