Ten years ago, I was traveling in Peru and had the wonderful experience of visiting the Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu. A beautiful, historic and spiritual place that to me was like nothing I had ever seen.
At that time, I was disappointed that although we knew about the archeological beauty of Machu Picchu, nobody had studied the Civil Engineering wonder that it is... that is until now...
I was pleased to see that an American Water Engineer, Kenneth R. Wright, had written a book together with the leading archeological expert on Machu Picchu, Alfredo Valencia Zegarra called "Machu Picchu: A Civil Engineering Marvel".
There are many books on the engineering feats of the Romans and Greeks, but this is the first one that examines with great detail the feats of the first engineers in the Americas.
I just wanted to share this wonderful news, with everyone.
