I've been asked to put together a simple demo showing a Bottom Up modeling methodology and how we could automate such a process. The demo would consist of a simple window with input fields to drive a couple of dimensions and pick some features. This would drive the macro to grab some template files, save them off into new parts and mate them together into an assembly.

I'm looking for code that would do this and any references to useful NX macro syntax (i.e. NX Macros for Dummies). I'll be using VB as I have a reasonable understanding of that. Or does anyone know of a freeware / demo version of a RBE/KBE package out there

I used Rulestream back in the early 2000s and I'm familiar with that RBE system. Ideally, I would use a platform like that to do this but since we don't have such a platform, I need to go old school and hammer out the code manually to convince management that such an approach would help us address our engineering cycle time for our ETO product and by such a platform.

Thanks in advance
