Howdy,

I am trying to find a quick way of sweeping a profile over many lines. I have a truss composed of many lines both inside and outside of sketches. What I would like to be able to do is specify the profile geometry, select all of the sketches/lines, and have the profile be swept along each line. I have created a few macros before, so I know the basics of setting it up. However, I can't figure out the strategy for accomplishing this particular task. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dillon

Sounds like you have a skeletal structure and you want to be able to sweep profiles around them all. You could spend a lot of time creating a macro, or you could create a power copy with the sweep, sketch, and sketch plane and then instantiate that powercopy on all segments of your skeletal structure. OR, if your entire skeletal structure is planar (like trusses on a house roof) you could use a pad with neutral fiber selected.
