Hello All,
Is there a journal/macro which should name the dimensions in drafting mode (names already defined). It should pop-up and ask for example a pop up should come for “Length” and I can select that particular dimension against it , which will name it as length, similarly many other 50-60 dimensions. All names are already defined as standard. These standard dimension names should be in the journal (which will pop up and ask to select the dimension against it and link that name to the particular dimension). After naming it should export the text string in all the named dimensions with their defined name to an excel sheet. For example “length in A1 and its text 2000 in B1.
I have a journal which exports the text string of all the dimensions to an excel sheet but the problem is i also need names along with it to indentify what is that particular dimension.
Is it possible ? , it would be a great help for me as it’s a repeatitive task for me , I am looking automating it to ensure the accuracy.
Thanks in advance !!!
Regards.
