Hi,

Can anyone help me with a macro / journal to change the all layers to visible in visible in view for sheet , when entering the drafting mode. Also if worklayer gets changed to 245 , it would be awesome..

Also when the layers are made visible , can they be kept visible for any new sheet created after entering the drafting mode.

The way this works is this:
The layer settings , 1-2-3-4 selectable, 5-6-7-9 invisble etc, stored in the drawing template will be "locked in" each new view created.
After the view is created , you must change each view using the Layer visible in View.

Any projected views or detail views or section views will inherit the parent views settings.

This way, you can show detail x on layer 7 in view A and
detail y on layer 8 in view B and etc etc

Does this help ?

regards,
Tomas

Hi ,

I already have a macro , when, I click on application >> drafting, takes me to drafting with work layer set to layer I predefined. I wanted to enhance this , so that the all layers for the sheet is set to visible when I change to Drafting application along with work layer set to specified layer. Also I wanted to know if the visible in layer can be default set to All Layer visible for Sheet level ..
