Hi,

I have a task of bringing a sizeable object with some ferromagnetic components (a rotating anode x-ray tube) very close to the MRI magnet. How do I prevent the ferromagnetic component from the tube and its housing from interfering with the operation of the MRI, and how do I prevent the magnetic lines of MRI from deflecting the trajectory of the electron beam in the x-ray tube? Will passive shielding work or will it offset the magnetic lines of MRI to an unacceptable degree?

I would welcome any thoughts that you may have on this subject. If you need some additional info then please let me know.

Thank you,
