Does anyone out there have any experience with the new "maglev" (magnetic levitation) style electronic cooling fans?

Yes, but I haven't been running them long.
They are quiet, and they (70mm) move more air than a similar noise level 80mm conventional fan.
In my assorted computers I have about 15 fans, mostly 60mm and 80mm. These all run 24/7. I only have a couple of the mag fans. I rarely see fan failures, so it may be a while before I have an opinion on them.

Will you share the manufacture's name?

The one true mag bearing fan that I run is a Sunon.
I also run a couple of the YSTech TMD fans. These are real cool and quiet. The aren't strictly mag bearing fans, but hte tip drive is nice.
look under new products for TMD.
