magnesium oxidizing

hi everybody;

i try to oxidize magnesium in hot water but i have small time to do it so i want to add a salt in to water for rapidly oxidizing.

I search which salt must I add to rapidly oxidize magnesium.

If you have an idea i will be happy

First I will oxidize mg than melt with flux5 and than I am going to try to recycle mg.

You are talking about a large scale operation to recycle any quanity of magnesium scrap. I think it would be best to purhase a process.
