Hallo to everyone...
I have to pump diathermic oil (Marlotherm) at 250°C.
I have all the data needed to buy the new pump, just I don't know if it is better to use a canned pump or a magnetic coupling one. Can anyone explain me what are the main advantages and disadvantages of them?
Personally i would prefer magnetic coupling type, but our corporate offices are about to choose canned type..and I'd like to explain why to choose other type (if it is really better).

Thank you,
Lorenzo

Lnz,

What does Marlotherm recommend ?

How about some of the other vendors of similar "hot oil" products ? What are their recommendations ?
