I am trying to use an this steel (AISI D2/W.1.2379/UNS T30402) in a project, but I am not able to find anywhere it's magnetic permeability, since it is considered to a tool steel, and the magnetic proporties apparently are of no interest.

Can anybody help me with ideas/data where I could get this information ?

Thanks.

with proper heat treatment (rapid cooling below 900 oC)it is surprizingly soft given that the carbon is low enough and is strongly magnetic, but this is where the issue gets complicated because permeability is not a property of the material. it depends on field strength, how you measure it, amount of cold work, and heat treament, etc.,etc.
