I know that for the mechanical pig signaller you want to install in a burried pipe it comes with an extention to take the signal aboveground and there is need to use an access chamber.
If instead of a mechanical pig signaller a magnetic one is required: Is it necessary to install it in an access chamber or can it be buried just as the mechanical one is?
