When I use the Translate command to translate surfaces, using the axis to axis option, the color of the surfaces all change to one color, that being the default light yellow color. For example, 3 surfaces each having a different color (red, green, blue) and after translation, they all change to the default light yellow. Is there a setting somewhere or a way to where the surfaces will remain the original red, green and blue and not turn light yellow after they land at their new location?
Thank you in advance for any help on this issue that anyone can provide.

In GSD (Generative Shape Design) you can turn on (double pick to keep on for more than 1 command) Create Datum and No Keep. These icons can be found in the Tools toolbar. This will create dumb items and not keep a copy of the original content. For your example the red, green, blue surfaces will be translated to the new location and the colors, level, name, geometric set location,... will be preserved.
