tiasimo,

Once u have created new surface by translate, scale, mirror....etc., the original surface will be put into HIDE mode, u will not lose anything except u delete them.

Johnny

yes, but the new one will have no properties, of color and transparency etc. What I want, for eg, is when I scale 3 surfaces, a red a blu and a gree transparent at 50%, that the scaled ones keep the properties

Sorry,

Ask Dassault...Or make a rule with knowledgeware.

Hi tiasimo,

Yes, for what itsmyjob says, also to my belief, is what we can have today. We have to ask Dassault for such "enhancement request" ... >_<

Well, I'm not quite aware of what other SW will perform in such situation, but at least in V4, there is a choice of STANDARD and SAME when I TRANSFOR+APPLY ...

Perhaps you may need to press one more click, the "Painter" Icon in the grahpic properties toolbar to paste the graphic properties of your original surfaces into your transformed ones.

Cheers. Kennis.

You could apply the graphic properties at a higher level, such as the geometric set. Then every new surface will have the same properties. But, ALL the geometry in that set will have the same properties.

Or, you could use the PAINTER tool to quickly give the new surface the same properties as the old hidden one.

Thanx all...

I will try to apply the properties to the whole geometrical set then
