I want to make a movie of an assembly that I make in inventor 5.0. I want to make a movie of my assembly (turnig aroud).

I don't know if it is possible and how I must make a movie of my assembly. Maybe it is not possible in inventor 5, I have also inventor 8 (but not installed).

The simplest way is to "unground" all components, constrain one part to the origin axis (or a grounded work axis in the assembly) This should allow the entire assembly to rotate about that axis. Then put an angle constrain to one of the origin axis and drive that constraint 360 degrees while you record.

The other, (and better way in my opinion) is to use snag-it, or other screen capture software to record your screen while you move around the model, zoom in or out, and revolve the model with a spaceball. It takes a little while to get a feel for how fast you are moving compared to how fast the video will move. You can download a 30 day trial of snag-it (just do a google search)
