Make block from detail instance

We use o-ring sealing, when we create our detail drawings we insert a typical gland detail.
I wanted to create a block from the gland detail to use on future detail drawings.
What would be the best way to complete this task?

If you are wanting to do this in a drawing ... why???

If you are wanting to do it in the model, you don't need a block. Use a Design Library Feature. There are already several types available for both cylinder and face, static and dynamic.
