I have an assembly that I want to show some components in a translucent/transparent manner so that you can see into the belly of the component while still seeing the outer shape.
I found a like that refers to 'styles' menu or by going View->Style and assigning some colour to a component, but I do not find this in NX9.
I suspect that I can do this by setting component materials, but I really just need this for display and if I have to assign a material to each component I think it will affect the model performance negatively on my PC and 'grow' the file unnecessarily.
I can also assign colours to features when the part is made the 'Display Part' by going Edit->Feature->Assign Feature Color, but it does not seems like they can be made translucent. I also really just need this in an assembly and don't want to have to make changes to the parts themselves.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
