Hi all,
Hope I'm posting on the right forum.
I need to determine the MMAD d50 distribution of an aerosol droplets that are generated by our device.
The measurements will be done on the Spraytec device by Malvern.
The composition of the liquid (colloidal mixture) from which the aerosol is produced:
1) DI Water 18.2 MOhm*cm
2) Iron (II,III) Oxide nano-particles 10nm
3) Florescent particles, Polystyrene 0.52um
Amount of solids in the colloidal mixture is about ~4% of the total volume.
*I have the needed properties for the SOP settings, of the materials.
My question is on the correct way of setting up the parameters of the test, as during the SOP settings there is only ONE solid substance that can be defined for the spray (while the colloidal mixture contains TWO types of solids).
If anybody has experience working with this device and can help in any way...
Regards,
SD
P.S
I've contacted Malvern, but haven't received an answer yet.
