Hi All,
I am using TC11, NX11.
I have a NX assembly more than a million of parts, whenever i use to open the model it will take 1 to 1:30 hr to completely load the assembly, some times NX Crashes!!! again i have to open the assembly. Once the Model loaded i use to do the BOM Changes. How to reduce these loading time? I am using TC11, NX11. Whenever i open the models all the datum's, csys, loading up even after switching off the layers? i have used the best known loading options "Structure Only" " partial loading" "As Saved". But still i am facing lot of issues while loading. Can you guys please help me. Is this due to bad modeling standard, please share if there is any best standard of modeling & assembly.

You should check the assembly load options to see which Reference set is selected for the components. Check if the reference set MODEL is used. This should only contain 3D Data (Bodies and Sheets).
This will improve the load performance.

You can also start with loading your assemblies Structure only and after that use the "open by proximity" option. This will let you open components which are within the distance you specify from teh components which you want to work on.

Also working with component groups will give you extra options when working with Large assemblies.

In the Help-files from NX you can also find best practices...
