Mandrel Diameter for bend test

Dear Experts,

I am just comparing bend test mandrel diameter for material and weldment.

For material maximum mandrel diameter allowed is 2t where as for weldment it is 4t, considered "t" is the thickness of sample.

Request anyone to throw some clarity on this.

Depends on the Code, material, thickness. You aren't getting any help, because you give zero information.
