Manipulate Teamcenter Macro internally

When we release a print in GM TCe we have to over-write our internal print so we have the most recently updated print. But when I save it internally I cannot make any changes to anything that uses a macro to create (e.g. rev block, names, date). I can't use the macro if it's not GM TCe NX. Is there a way to make those changes?
