How do you turn a layer off just in a drawing view but leave the layer on in other views?

Thanks,

In R2001 there is a drop down list in the layer manager dialogue box. The list titled: Active Object, has (3) options: The Drawing, Drawing View and Part. If you select Drawing View, you will be prompted to select a view to apply the layer settings to. I am sure that there is something similar in WF. Have a look.

Cheers,

JW

Yep, I was able to do it in 2001 but can't find that function in WF.

Anybody have a clue?

When you have the layer tree showing on the left, there is a drop down menu at the top. This sets the context for the layer setup. Pick the view by name or hit the arrow next to the menu and then pick on the border of the view that you want to edit.

Make sure you save the view settings! Right click on the layer tree and click Save Status, or go to View-->Visibility-->Save Status...

... and make sure Drawing Layer Status ignore_model_layer_status is (default) ticked.

Okay,
Thanks!! Seems, you guys never fail.

Regards,
SrG.
