Manufacturers of 4KV Synchronous Motor?

We have an application where we need to replace an older synchronous motor with a 4KV, 1250HP, 8P replacement synchronous motor. I would prefer to replace it with a VFD and SC motor, but unfortunately, this is not an option.

Who, besides TECO Westinghouse, still manufacturers these relatively low HP motors any more? I've confirmed ABB and Siemens and they no longer due. Thanks.

Huh, at first I was thinking that you must have talked to the wrong people at Siemens and ABB, but after trying to find them, it appears you are correct!

The other old-time supplier along the lines of Ideal is Electric Machinery Co. (who is now owned by WEG).

And believe it or not, the old Louis Allis Co. is still in business, mostly doing rebuilds and custom designs. But it might be worth contacting them.
