Hello.
I am trying to make a polycarbonate cover out of 3" ID polycarbonate.
Basically its section of a 3" tube 4-1/2" long, split in 2 parts.
I have been lookin at clear PC tube supplier that could cut the pieces for me.
I am affraid I dont know how to do that myself reliably with enough repeatability in resulting parts.
The choice for PC against cheaper acrylic is because this cover is used on a chamber with a heating element in it, which temperature is above the capabilities of acrylic plastic.
What are the main PC/Lexan suppliers, for retail? I need 4' tube section to cut into 20 semicircular covers.
Any suggestions?
