My company is looking for information as to where we could obtain generic process-developed cost models for use in estimating components and assemblies on a new project.

We are in need of models that would work in the casting, forging, plastic (injection molding, SMC, FRP, and vacuum-form), etc.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

PaintGuy,

Please see the FAQ Technical Cost Modeling methodology (faq278-851). This may be helpful to you.
