Hi!
I've modeled a structure using the Mechanical APDL application. Now i have to perform a strain-life fatigue analysis, which i think is only avalaible within the workbench environment. My cuestion is, is it possible to import the model and the results from the apdl application to the workbench environment?
Thank you very much!

Eh... the real strength of Workbench is in the available pre-processing. I'm not aware of any analysis functionality that is available in Workbench and is not available in Classic/MAPDL. I don't think that MAPDL models can be brought into Workbench, but they can most certainly go the other way. Workbench is expecting a particular directory structure, and stores things a bit differently.

I'm pretty sure that you can set fatigue events with the FE command in MAPDL. There's a list of fatigue commands (FE, FP, FL, FS, etc.) in the Ansys command reference that may be useful to you.
