Marking of Flanged Fitting Designed to ASME B31.3 304.7.2

What are the marking requirements for a flanged fitting designed to ASME B31.3 304.7.2 (unlisted components)? Code calculations would be performed as required and the flanges part of the fitting would be designed to ASME BPV Code Section VIII, Division 1, Appendix 2.

Check the "Product Marking" clause on each material used for the flanged fitting. For example the Appendix 2 flange is ASTM A-105, then have a look at the Product Marking clause on the specification for ASTM A-105.

Just has to be markes such that it is traceable to your Code Calc's. You can mark them "A" and fulfil the traceability requirements. Simple.
