Many Marman clamps are used with sealing beads that are formed onto the tubes they connect. But SOME use slip-on, beads that sleeve over the ubes. I cannot seem to dig up any guidelines fir weld size or quality for these slip-on Marman beads. Anybody have a suggestion on this?
PS: The Marman "bead" is that 20-degree rhomboid shape that the clamp's V-band seats upon.
Cheers from Chris in NC.
