I am trying to butt two tubes together at an angle. The ends are mitered so the resulting faces are oval instead of circular. I could not find a mate out of those offered to join these together.
The faces can be selected and made coincident. Next is to join the outer edges (sort of concentric), but SW will not accept the edge because it is not circular. The only thing I can do at this stage is to move them together until they look about right, and then fix each part.
Is there another type of mate, or a different method to work around the problem? Thanks.
