Material hardness level effectiveness on thermo-conductively

Does the hardness level of mild and stainless steel have any effect on the thermo-conductively properties?

Concerned heat exchanger manufacturer.

Not to an extent that matters. Hardness may effect the corrosion resistance, fatigue and strength of the material.
